Through the Agents Letter of Protest Subject: Steel coils loaded in XXXX tiers high.
Dear Sir,Please note that vessel is presently loading Cold Rolled Coils at XXXXXXXAs per the Prestow plan the CRC are being loaded in XXX tiers high with average weight about XXX metric tons , in XXX ,XXX Holds.There is Possibility that the lower coils could sustain compression damages due to the weight of the cargo loaded on top.
The stowage plan is planned by the charterers/Port Captain. Vessel has no means to determine the loadable Stack weight for the coils., and NO stack height/weight letter was provided to vessel.
Thus, I hereby raise this protest and place on record that Master/Owners shall not be held responsible for any damages/claims/delays due to aforementioned.
I also reserve the right of my principals to extend this protest at a later date, place and time.
