①INSERT 

（  the act of putting one thing into another ）

在英版海图  Admiralty ChartsINSERT is used for the insertion of the new data.INSERT（插入）用以插入新的数据。

②AMEND 

（ change or modify something）AMEND is used when a feature remains in its existing charted position but has a change of characteristic.AMEND（修改）用于数据在海图上位置不变而特性改变的情况。

③SUBSTITUTE

（thing that takes or can take the place of another） SUBSTITUTE is used when one feature replaces an existing feature and the position remains as charted.
