SOLAS公约要求：

SOLAS2000年修正案Ⅱ-2章（简称新Ⅱ-2章）规定，2002年7月1日或以后建造的所有船舶，应按13.3.4和13.4.3条在起居处所和机器处所配置紧急逃生呼吸器（EEBD），且应符合消防安全系统规则（FSS Code）相关要求（第3章2.2条）。

新Ⅱ-2章1.2.2.2条规则规定2002年7月1日以前建造的所有船舶，应在2002年7月1日以后进行的第一次检验时，按规定数量配齐EEBD。

具体要求：

1  总则General

1.1  紧急脱险呼吸装置是仅在逃离有毒气体舱室时使用的空气或氧气供应装置，应为认可型。An EEBD is a supplied air or oxygen device only used for escape from a compartment that has a hazardous atmosphere and shall be of an approved type.

1.2 紧急脱险呼吸装置不应用于灭火、进入缺氧隔离空舱或舱室、或由消防员配带。在这些情况下，应使用专门适合这些用途的自给式呼吸器。EEBDs shall not be used for fighting fires, entering oxygen deficient voids or tanks, or worn by firefighters. In these events, a self-contained breathing apparatus, which is specifically suited for such applications, shall be used.

2 定义Definitions

2.1 面罩系指被设计成将眼睛、鼻子和嘴的周围全部封闭起来的面部遮盖物，并用适当的方式将其固定就位。Face piece means a face covering that is designed to form a complete seal around the eyes, nose and mouth which is secured in position by a suitable means.

2.2 头罩系指能把头、颈部完全覆盖起来，并可能覆盖到部分肩部的头部遮盖物。Hood means a head covering which completely covers the head, neck, and may cover portions of the shoulders.

2.3 有害气体系指对于生命或健康有直接危害的任何气体。Hazardous atmosphere means any atmosphere that is immediately dangerous to life or health.

3 细节Particulars

3.1 紧急脱险呼吸装置至少应能使用10分钟。The EEBD shall have a service duration of at least 10 min.

3.2 紧急脱险呼吸装置应视情包括一个头罩或全脸面罩，以便在逃生时保护眼睛、鼻子和嘴。头罩和面罩均应由耐火材料制成，并包括一个清晰的视窗。The EEBD shall include a hood or full face piece, as appropriate, to protect the eyes, nose and mouth during escape. Hoods and face pieces shall be constructed of flame resistant materials and include a clear window for viewing.

3.3 未启用的紧急脱险呼吸装置应不用手就能携带。An inactivated EEBD shall be capable of being carried hands-free.

3.4 紧急脱险呼吸装置应储存适当，以免受环境的影响。An EEBD, when stored, shall be suitably protected from the environment.

3.5 必须在紧急脱险呼吸装置上清晰地印有简要的使用说明或清晰的图示。配戴程序应迅速且容易，以便能在极短的时间就能安全摆脱有害气体。Brief instructions or diagrams clearly illustrating their use shall be clearly printed on the EEBD. The donning procedures shall be quick and easy to allow for situations where there is little time to seek safety from a hazardous atmosphere.

4  标志

在每一个紧急脱险呼吸装置上应印有保养要求、厂家的商标和序列号、贮藏期限及生产日期、以及认可机关的名称。用于培训的紧急脱险呼吸装置必须清楚地标示。Maintenance requirements, manufacturer's trademark and serial number, shelf life with accompanying manufacture date and name of approving authority shall be printed on each EEBD. All EEBD training units shall be clearly marked.
