船舶天文钟管理规则Instuctions

1． 天文钟放置地点，应在海图室内不易震动及干燥的地方，与铁板壁、暖气设备或其他散热器等隔离稍远的地方，并须避免阳光的直射。

The Marine Chronometer shall kept in a dry and un-vibrate place in chart room. Keep space between Iron Plante, heater and other radiator equipments. Avoid expose in sunlight directly.

2． 为了防震及保持正常一定的温度，天文钟保管柜内，应有丝绒或毛毡围包，柜盖的四周，应装有丝绒的衬垫。

In order to preventing vibrating and keeping working temperture, the Storage Cabinet shall be wrapped with velvet or felt inside blanet. The Cabinet Lid shall covered with Velet Pad as well.

3． 天文钟匣放在保管柜内后，两边应再以棉纱头填塞，防止因船身摇摆而受震动

After the Marine Chorometer Case is placed, the Storage Cabinet shall stuffed with cotton waster in both ends in order to preventing vabration by ship’s sallying

4． 天文钟柜内不应放置任何杂物（秒表及日差记录簿亦不得放置在柜内），除负责保管者按时开启进行上弦（机械天文钟）外，不得任意开启，以免影响柜内温度变动（航行远洋船舶，柜内最好应放置最高与最低寒暑表，以便能经常注意其温度的变化）。

The Marine Chorometer Cabinet shall not place any other stuff (including stopwatch and daily error record book). The Cabinet is only opened for benting by the storekeeper for avoiding the temperture changing.

5． 在天文钟柜附近，不应放置带有磁性的物品（电动机、发电机应距离约三十英尺，磁棒及备用罗经卡八英尺）。

Keep the Marine Chorometer Cabinet from any Magnetized materials.

6． 天文钟应根据海岸电台所发报时电讯，每日至少核对一次，并将日差、温度记入日差记录簿内，每半月计算积差一次，并记入之。

Measure the Chorometer with Time signal from Coast Station. Record the daily error, temperture into the Error record book. Cauculate the correlation twice a morth and fill into the record book.

7． 不论二日型或八日型机械天文钟，均应每日按时（并必须准时）上弦一次（由二副负责），上弦时动作应轻而稳，不得忽快忽慢，切勿使钟受到震摇。

Benting the Chorometer at regular time daily( 2/E). Avoiding any vibration during benting.

8． 机械天文钟冬季上弦时，海图室门应关闭，以防寒气侵入，影响温度变动。

When Benting in Winter, close the chart room’s door to avoid the tempreture change.

9． 天文钟时针不得任意拨动。

Any torch on the Chorometer Indicator shall prohabitted.

10． 天文钟每隔四年，必须进行一次清洗、加油及校正。

The chorometer shall be cleaned, refueled and revised every four years.

11． 搬运机械天文钟必须由三副以上的驾驶员担任。天文钟搬运时应将平衡环夹紧，使钟固定。长途搬运时发，应自平衡环上取下让发条走完，将钟内均旋轮用干燥的软木片（或纸片）垫住（不可用力塞紧）。搬运时搬运者应坐在车辆或船舶的震动最小之处，并以两手握住，要平置轻放，防止受震或翻倒。

The movement of Chorometer should carried by 3RD Officer or above. Tight the Gimbal to avoiding vabration. When transported for long distance, chock up the gear by a piece of dry cork. Handle with two hands and minimise the vibration.

12． 当发现天文钟日差有特殊变化时，应立即报告船长，如天文钟日差有不规则现象时，船长应报告海务监督室。

When the Daily Error changs abnormal, the 3rd Officer shall report to the master without deley. When the daily Error performances irregularly, master shall report to the Marine Department.

13． 船长有责监督天文钟的正确管理，并经常审核天文钟误差记录簿的记录。

The Master has responsbilty for guiding the management of the chorometer and checking the erroe record regularly.

14． 天文钟误差记录簿应放在天文钟近旁的一定地点，并由三副负责记录保管。

The Chorometer Erroe Book shall kept in regular place near the chorometer. The 3rd Officer is in charge of recording.

15． 主管部门有责督促驾驶员正确使用和维护天文钟。

The company have the responsibility to guide the crew to use and maintain the chorometer.

16． 天文钟误差记录簿记完后由三副保存三年。

The Chorometer Error Book shall kept by 3/O for 3 years after used.

  天文钟：是指示世界时的精确时计。观测天体高度时需记下准确时刻，以便在航海天文历中入表，查找天体坐标。船上天文钟一般保存在海图室，要求在航期间每天至少与无线电对时台进行一次校对，发射台参照NP282 TIME SIGNAL单元，一般使用全球覆盖的5000K、10000K、15000KHZ；如发现船舶记录使用GPS校对，必须予以纠正。
